Goals coming from Darren Jordan (4) Travis tibbets (2) Brady Nelson (1) assist Owen wolpin (2) brady Nelson (2) jevan Beale (1) Carl edwardson (1). Both games very strong defending from Lowell Vigeant, Zach North, Carl edwardson and Brody Ennis. Great control of the midfield from Darren Jordan, Jevan Beale, Brady Nelson, and Carl Edwardson. Relentless pressure on there defenders from our forwards Wyatt Cushing, Kael Weber, Owen Wolpin, and Gavin Perkins. And solid goalkeeping from Chris Thompson.
This week the U11 team also attended a University of New Hampshire Division 1 game against UMBC - the team walked out as mascots and got the chance to play on the UNH field!
U12 Boys
U12 Boys won their game on Saturday against Merrimack SC 6-1. The goals were scored by Carson Sadler (3), Tagel Ort, Colby Blackburn and Luke Javalgi. Two of Carson's goals were assisted by Luke Javalgi (1) and Colby Blackburn (1). The team played an excellent game defensively shutting down Merrimack's strikers all game and then sending the ball up to midfield and strikers for quick counter attacks. Harry Jenkins played a great game in goal.
U14 Boys
U14 Boys had a re-match against International SC. Despite dominating the whole game, the team was 2-0 down at half time, but they pulled it back in the second half to tie 2-2. LRU goals came from Aiden Bondaz and Ronan Taylor.
U15 Girls
U15 Girls had a tough game against a tall, physical Bedford Bulldogs team on Sunday. With Abby Kenyon, the regular goalkeeper, playing in a cast, the team celebrated Rylee Rizzitano, Ally Kenyon and Lauren MacDonald who all took some time in goal. LRU's defense was great today, particularly Anna Coapland and Fia Swormstedt. The team was competitive all over the field, but unfortunately the makeshift rookie goalkeepers made some errors and the game was lost 6-0.
U15 Boys
U15 boys defeated Bedford 4-1 Saturday at Bryant Field. Tanner Keenan had a hat trick and Tyler Rizzatano added the 4th goal. Assists by Chance Bolduc and William Riley. Keeper Ethan Larson allowed his first goal of the year which came on a penalty kick late in the contest. Defense was strong again lead by sweeper Liam Waldron who had a massive game dominating the defensive air space.
