Fall 2018 Week 1
U10 Coed
The U10 Coed team played their first ever LRU game this weekend against Manchester North. The team scored 2 goals courtesy of Cohen Shields and Brady Nelson
U11 Boys
U11 Boys opened their season with a 2-1 win over John Stark United. Goals came from Darren Jordan and Owen Wolpin, with assists coming from Brady Nelson and Jevan Beale.
U12 Boys
U12 Boys played against the newly formed Peak FC, winning 5-3 with 4 goals coming from Carson Sadler and 1 from Clark Blackwelder. Colby Blackburn was player of the match, stepping in to play goalkeeper at last minute. Brady Jewell also played an excellent game in defense.
U14 Boys
U14 Boys had a tough opening game against International SC but acquitted themselves well, narrowly losing 2-1. The LRU goal came from Ronan Taylor.
U15 Boys
U15 Boys opened their season with a bang - a 7-0 win over Derry Eagles thanks to a shutout performance from Ethan Larson in goal, and a strong defense of Liam Waldron, Chance Bolduc, Caleb Adams and Lucas Robdau. The LRU goals came from across the field, with Rizzitano (2), Cushing (2), Keenan, McDonough and Donnelly all opening their accounts for the season.
U15 Girls
U15 Girls started the season with a weekend double header, playing Litchfield on Saturday and South Central on Sunday. Despite playing great soccer in both games, the girls didn't get the results that their performances deserved, losing 4-3 against Litchfield - goals from Caldon (2), Carmignani, and losing 3-1 against South Central - the LRU goal came from Ally Kenyon. Both games had some really nice soccer from the LRU girls. Millie Caldon playing box-to-box midfield and Liz Albert as a defensive rock really stood out this weekend.
